Free Initial consultation : Let's take 30 minutes to meet up at a desired location so you ask can me any questions and get to know me as an individual, fellow mom, and doula.  I look forward to telling you about my philosophy, my experience, and hearing what you prefer my role to be during your journey.  I do not pass judgement on anyone's specific desires, as I fully understand that birth is a personal and unique experience.

First prenatal visit (Approximately 1-1.5 hours): We will meet in the comfort of your home.  We will discuss the different stages and phases of labor, your birth vision, your birth preferences, and different daily exercises.
* The first 50% of my fee is due at this time *

Second prenatal visit (Approximately 1-1.5 hours):  We will meet in the comfort of your home.  We will discuss the different interventions that may be presented, options for pain relief (both medical and non-medical), postpartum care, breastfeeding, and birth bag supplies.
* The remaining 50% of my fee is due at this time *

First postpartum visit (Approximately 45-60 minutes): This visit will take place anytime between 4-7 days postpartum.  We can process your birth together (if you'd like), I will check on you and baby, make sure that breastfeeding is well established, and answer any questions you might have.

Second postpartum visit (Approximately 45-60 minutes): This visit will take place approximately 1-2 weeks after the first postpartum visit.  I will check on you and baby, make sure that breastfeeding is continuing to go well, and will assist you in reaching out to additional resources if need be.

Labor, Birth, and Beyond: Once you secure me as your doula, you can feel comfortable utilizing me as a resource.  Email is preferred for any non-urgent matters that can wait up to 24 hours for a response.  Text is preferred for any non-urgent matters requiring a response within the next 4-6 hours.  Phone calls are preferred for urgent matters and for requesting my in-person support for active labor.  If I feel your concern or need is out of my scope of care I will be happy to refer you to the appropriate individual.  I will be present for the duration of your birth beginning at active labor (understanding that there are always exceptions) and a minimum of 1 hour postpartum.  I am prepared to reserve calendar space and to be on call for you beginning at 38 weeks and ending at 42 weeks (unless otherwise discussed and then noted between client and doula in the contract) I am available to answer questions up until 6 weeks postpartum.  I am prepared to transport your placenta in the event that you are planning encapsulation, tincture, body butter, or prints.  I work with a large network of back-up doulas in the event of a personal emergency or illness.

Birth Photography: The rawness of birth is an incredible thing!  The beauty of a birthing goddess is unforgettable!  It brings me great joy to be able to document these moments at your request at no additional cost.

* FEES: If you would like to inquire about my fees or request a copy of my personal doula resume or contract before the initial interview please feel free to do so. *
